After more than two decades in the high-pressure world of the legal profession, I felt something was missing. Despite the accolades and respect I earned, there was a growing desire within me to make a deeper impact on people's lives.
Driven by a passion for helping others, I achieved my coaching certification in 2014. As a divorced mother of two, I balanced my legal career while coaching casually when time permitted. This provided me with the opportunity to refine my coaching skills and gain invaluable experience, while helping clients navigate personal and professional challenges.
Battling the on-going stress and emotional toll of the legal grind, I turned to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as tools for my personal change. These two evidence based techniques transformed my life, igniting a deeper passion within me to help others navigate their own journeys toward mental fitness and holistic wellness. These tools are central to my coaching practice, and support my clients to challenge their self-defeating thoughts and embrace life's challenges with new perspectives, while committing to their values-based actions and ultimately achieving their goals.
In 2022, I made the quantum leap from the legal profession to the luxurious world of coaching full-time. I provide contract coaching services on a worldwide platform, which has allowed me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. In addition, I recently launched my own coaching practice, which provides a unique space where I can offer a more personalized coaching experience for all of my own personal clients.
